We’ll meet you in one of your usual East Lothian walk locations, or suggest some cool spots around Edinburgh or East Lothian including stunning beaches and woodland trails.

We’ll come to your home and do a dedicated portrait shoot in the relaxed home environment.We can do this either indoors or outdoors.
Unleashed
We’ll schedule a session with you at the brilliant Unleashed Dog Park in Pencaitland, East Lothian.
Totally private and safe outdoor space to have some fun.

Some top tips on getting the best out of our dog photography portrait sessions
We want your dog to be as relaxed as possible, to enjoy the whole experience. A relaxed dog is a happy dog, and a happy dog makes for fabulous natural photos!
Your dog has his or her own personality and the only way we will show that in photos is to make sure they are having fun and are totally at ease with the shoot.
Not only do familiar locations help everything feel relaxed, but getting familiar with us helps hugely. So we’ll spend the first few minutes making sure your dog feels 100% comfortable with us.
Just like us, when a dog is bored they’ll lose focus and stop having fun. We shoot in short bursts, changing things up often to ensure things keep moving and stay fun for everyone!

We’re Steve & Yvonne and we’re the folks behind Pupper Snappers! 🐾
For 18 years we’ve been running a busy multi-award winning wedding film company (and we still do!).
Over the past year, like many in the wedding industry, we decided to use our spare time to start a new pivot business… and we’ve absolutely fallen in love with dog photography! 🐾
We’re chilled, fun and appreciate exceptional customer service. We’re also rather good at what we do! 🐾 (Steve has always loved lying prone on the floor with a camera in hand, which is a bonus!)

Yvonne and Steve are very professional at what they do yet make you feel at ease. We enjoyed a lovely walk around our location of choice for our photoshoot. We received our incredibly high-quality pictures quickly and they were a collection of all you could have hoped for from a photoshoot. We could not recommend the duo enough!

Steve and Yvonne were very organised and professional. They were lovely people who made us feel relaxed and at ease. Nothing was too much bother for them. All of our photos were very natural and unforced and most definitely captured Dougal’s personality. We had a vast selection of quality photos to choose from. The hardest part of the whole experience was choosing the photographs!

Pupper Snappers is currently only running outdoor sessions, and preferably as far away from other people as possible! No offence! 🙂
All precautions will of course be taken so we’ll just have to forgo the hugs and high-fives for the time being, and we will keep a safe distance at all times.
We want everyone to stay safe, so by being very cautious and considerate, we don’t think there’s any reason why a well planned dog photography shoot can’t go ahead in the East Lothian area. We shoot on long lenses so never have to get very close anyway. We want to keep both of us safe.
Alternatively if you would rather wait a while, why not consider buying a Gift Voucher for the cost of a Dog Shoot session? It’ll not only really help support us through these tough few months ahead, but we can schedule a shoot at anytime in the next 12 months to suit and start chatting and planning now about just how awesome to make it!!
