We are professional dog photographers covering Edinburgh & The Lothians. We’re based. in Dunbar now having moved a couple of years ago, having previously spent our whole lives living in Edinburgh (we took in including Morningside, Duddingston, Colinton & Fairmilehead) so we know tons of great locations in Edinburgh to go to for great dog photos! The range of locations open to you for Dog Photography in Edinburgh is huge, and Edinburgh is blessed with so many amazing locations for dog photographers like us!
Imagine having a portrait of your dog from the top of Arthur’s Seat, or the Calton Hill, looking down on the centre of Edinburgh or maybe a city-centre location in the Old Town is more your thing? Those wonderful old shiny cobbled streets on a wet day, the old buildings and landmarks as the backdrop for a stunning dog photograph portrait? So good!
However, if you fancy a change of scenery then do remember that Dunbar in East Lothian is only 30-40 minutes from Edinburgh and is blessed with some stunning locations for dog portrait shoots. Whether it’s deserted beaches or forest trails, we have it covered.
The first step is to decide whether you would like to stay in Edinburgh for your dog portraits, or come on down to East Lothian, whichever you choose then we’re here to create stunning dog photography for you with one of our portrait shoots. They last around 60-90 minutes and after a few minutes of getting to know your dog so he/she feels nice and comfortable with us it’s off to get some lovely posed portraits (hopefully when they are still nice and clean!).
Then it’s a nice walk around a number of different locations to get a great range of photographs of different styles, some portraits, some natural shots, some shots with you and your dog together (if you’re comfortable with that) and finally some action shots (if your dog is able and willing). We want things to be relaxed and natural, chilled and most of all FUN. A happy and relaxed dog makes for photographs that genuinely show their personality, and that’s what we’re trying to capture!
Our dog portrait shoots start at just £59 and include a print, we also have gift cards available if you’d like a friend in Edinburgh who’d LOVE a portrait of their dog, a really cool and unique gift – with a great experience for them, and of course some stunning photos!
